Zendik Farm was an Environmentalist and Artist Commune and Co-op - It’s main philosophy was that Society is an evil and corrupt self destructive death cult – this group withdrew from that society and lived in a commune led by author Wulf Zendik and his wife Arol Wulf.
This rare book is a poetic ‘Stream of Consciousness’ journey into the mind of an artistic genius, revolutionary thinker and highly moral humanistic philosopher - this is Wulf Zendik’s semi-autobiographical novel.
This writing started in Laurel Canyon California 1957 and finished in Paris France in 1958 during the height of the ‘Beatnik Generation’ – one man’s deep search for integrity in a world of lies & deceit.
The book still rings true today with its mistrust of those in power and society as a whole – it has a timeless sheen that protects its ideals against theoretical dust and the passing of time - written 10 years before the author founded The ZENDIK FARM: Environmentalist and Artist Commune and Cooperative – a commune purposefully comprised of artists, craftsmen and other free thinkers….
It was active from the late 60s into 2013 – and finally disbanded after the deaths of the founder Wulf Zendik in ’99 and his wife Arol in 2012.
